The Youngest Runner on Team Ziętarscy - Jerzy.

Dad is preparing for the marathon.
Mom and Michał are preparing for their 7 kilometers.
But there is one participant whose start will be especially meaningful to me.
My son Jerzy.
As a mom, I know that I will probably experience his run even more intensely than all the others.
Not because the distance matters.
Not because the time matters.
But because I will see my child at the starting line, full of emotion, curiosity, and his own little bit of sporting courage.
Joy Is What Matters Most
We want this run to be, above all, fun for Jerzy and a beautiful memory.
It is not about the result.
It is not about competition.
It is about feeling the atmosphere of a major event, seeing other runners, hearing the cheering, and discovering how special it can be to experience sporting emotions together.
I hope that when he stands at the starting line, he will simply be happy.
And when he crosses the finish line?
I think I will have tears in my eyes.
Three Generations, One Extraordinary Event
That is exactly what makes this trip so special to me.
My dad is running the marathon.
My mom will also stand at the starting line.
Michał will run as part of this family adventure.
And now Jerzy will have his own race too.
Three generations of our family will come together in Amsterdam through sport.
Each with a different goal.
Each with a different distance.
But all together.
A Memory for a Lifetime
I do not know yet what Jerzy will remember from that day years from now.
Maybe the medal.
Maybe the crowd.
Maybe the excitement at the starting line.
Or maybe simply that his whole family stood beside him and cheered loudly.
I know one thing.
I will remember everything.
His smile.
His excitement.
The moment he starts.
And the moment I see him at the finish.
Because sometimes the most beautiful family memories begin with one very small step.
And sometimes...
with a first race.
Jerzy - the youngest runner on Team Ziętarscy.
Amsterdam is waiting for you too.
