My Family is Writing Their Own Story in Amsterdam! (Literally and on the Run) 🏃‍♂️📚

As a writer, I spend my days plotting storylines, creating characters, and binding them within paper covers. But this weekend, life has written a script I couldn't have come up with myself. My very own "dream team" is taking over the TCS Amsterdam Marathon!
While I battle deadlines and blank pages, they are challenging their own limits. And guess what? Each of them is running in a very special t-shirt. Take a look at the photo below – my dad will proudly show off my publishing house logo and the cover of my first book on the course! Promotion at a marathon pace? Why not! If you spot him on the tracks in the Dutch capital, make sure to cheer him on!

⏳ THE COUNTDOWN: A Family Weekend Full of Emotions!

The adrenaline is already kicking in, as this literary-athletic thriller is split into two exciting acts:
• Saturday (Act I): The warm-up crew enters the stage with massive hearts! My mom and my partner are running side-by-side in the 7 km race (the perfect warm-up for the fans!). Right after them, my biggest treasure – my little son – will make his big debut, conquering his first and most important 1 kilometer kids' run.
• Sunday (Act II - The Grand Finale): Time for a standing ovation. My dad faces the ultimate challenge and hits the full marathon course (42.195 km)! It's on his back that my book cover and publishing logo will proudly cross the finish line at the legendary Olympic Stadium.

Every good book needs a great ending, and I truly believe this weekend will end with four beautiful, shiny medals around my family's necks. Fingers crossed for their legs... and my voice!
And I leave you with one final question: have you read the book from my dad's t-shirt yet? If not, it's the perfect time to catch up before my squad outruns you on the course! 😉

Warmly,
Zuza
