Team Ziętarscy Is Ready to Run!

Our road to Amsterdam is becoming more and more of a family adventure.
At first, everything revolved around my dad’s marathon.
It is his big goal - months of preparation and 42 kilometers filled with effort, determination, and emotion.
But we quickly realized that Amsterdam would bring all of us together.
Dad will run 42 kilometers.
Mom will take on the 7-kilometer distance.
My partner Michał will also compete in the 7-kilometer race.
But there is one more person whose start will be especially meaningful to me.
My beloved son Jerzy will run too.
As a mom, I can hardly describe what that feels like.
Watching my child become part of the same family adventure, seeing his excitement and preparations, and then seeing the moment he stands at the starting line will be one of the most emotional experiences of this whole trip for me.
Three generations.
Different distances.
Different goals.
But one family.
One team.
Team Ziętarscy.
Dad will take on the marathon course.
Mom and Michał will complete their 7 kilometers.
Jerzy will have his own unique running adventure.
And me?
I will be cheering for every one of them, experiencing every start with them, and trying not to shed too many happy tears.
Because suddenly this trip has become much more than a journey to a marathon.
It has become a family memory that will stay with us forever.
Running has an extraordinary way of bringing people together.
Everyone runs at their own pace, everyone has their own goal and their own finish line, but the most beautiful part is that we can experience it together.
And that is exactly how we want to remember Amsterdam.
Not only through results, times, or medals.
We want to remember the emotions, the cheering, the fatigue, the laughter, the pride, and all those moments when our whole family feels that we are experiencing something truly special together.
And the most beautiful sight for me?
Jerzy on the course.
My little runner.
And our whole family there to cheer him on.
Team Ziętarscy is heading to Amsterdam.
And I think I am only now beginning to understand what an extraordinary adventure lies ahead of us.
