A Firefighter from Elgiszewo Heads to Amsterdam.
My Dad - A Firefighter from Elgiszewo Who Is Not Afraid of a Challenge
Today I want to introduce you to the man who started this entire running adventure.
My dad.
In everyday life, he is a firefighter connected with Elgiszew - a man for whom responsibility, perseverance, and readiness to act are more than just words.
One of his greatest passions is running.
Firefighter, Runner, Man of Character
Being a firefighter requires strength.
Not only physical strength.
It requires composure, discipline, courage, and the ability to act when other people need help.
When I watch Dad during his training, I see those same qualities.
This Will Not Be His First Sporting Challenge
Amsterdam is not my dad’s first sporting challenge.
He already has previous races and successes behind him that have shown how consistently he can work toward his goals.
Every race has given him experience.
Every training session has taught him patience.
Every finish line has become the beginning of the next challenge.
A Firefighter from Elgiszewo in Amsterdam
From Elgiszewo to the marathon course in Amsterdam.
A dream can begin anywhere.
On a small road.
During a first training run.
With one decision:
“I will try.”
And then you take another step.
And another.
And one more.
Dad, we are with you.
A firefighter from Elgiszew.
A runner.
A dad.
Amsterdam is waiting.
